Tears Fall from My Eyes Temperatures trifling: flowers in fall coloration, and leaves falling from the trees, the foreshadowing of autumn with that glimpse of shimmering frost that soon sweep over meadow everywhere. A single golden leaf rotated down an invisible spiral of breeze, spinning through the air as it let itself be carried down. It shook slightly as if it could have been whisked away any second by the grip of an icy wind, but it kept floating down the twirling course. It blew past Pepe’s face and landed lightly on the ground, the shiny, vibrant color standing out against the ambers and bronzes beneath it. It was so brittle, Chasity needed to reach down and pick it up and hold it close to my heart, pressing out any creases, but†¦show more content†¦In the years to come, Chasity, may not remember many of the words her Pepe spoke, but her memories of what he conveyed without speaking a word will stay in her heart forever. After a while, her life with Pepe seemed like a memorable story or a distant dream. As tears roll down Chasity’s face, she knows he’s in a better place. She closes her eyes to see Pepe’s face, suddenly she felt a warm embrace. With a smile, so wide it brings tears to her eyes. Chasity tries so hard not to cry all the pain she cannot hide. Pepe always knew just what to say to everyone having a bad day. Chasity doesn t know if she will ever understand, but it must be part of God s plan. As Chasity looks up towards the blue sky, she imagines seeing Pepe spreading his wings to fly. â€Å"Be sure to give Mimi sign so she knows you are in Heaven, and everything is fine.† As the tears roll down her face. She knows her Pepe is in a better place. Chasity is sitting here in her bedroom, looking at her grandparent’s picture. Wondering why neither of them couldn t be a part of her future. It was more painful than stabbing her in the heart with a knife. She still needed her Pepe here, he was the one to make everything so clear. When he died a part of Chasity died too. â€Å"She never knew how hard it was to lose someone you love,† Until the day he went to heaven above. But right now, there is only pain.
